About Us
Dale Culver started Culver Upholstery in 1978 after 27 years working for Acme Upholstery Co. He specializes in restoring antique furniture – often requiring that he rebuild entire pieces of furniture, not just re-upholster them. Dale started offering professional furniture refurbishing just a year after opening his shop, as customers, pleased with his restoration work on their upholstered pieces, began asking that he refurbish their old dressers, dining room tables, and curio cabinets.

In 1980, his wife, Andrea, began offering her pyrography work through Culver Upholstery. She had been doing pyrography as a hobby for nearly a decade prior to that and they decided it would be another useful service that Culver Upholstery could offer their customers.

Their business has grown quite a bit since then, but they still pay special attention to each and every one of their customers.
